If you require a cosmetic procedure, you don't have to have a referral from your GP but it is always advisable to discuss your needs with your family doctor and inform your GP of such treatments.

For non-cosmetic problems, you would need to have a referral from your GP or another specialist.

The initial consultation will last 30 minutes.

Subsequent consultations can last between 15-30 minutes depending on your condition.

For cosmetic procedures, you will be seen at least on two occasions. You will not incur extra charge for the second appointment. For cosmetic procedures, your photographs will be taken at the initial consultation.
